Clarification on the forum language policy

If you want to curse like a sailor, then so be it. The only restriction is that you do so in the General Chat areas of the forum. The reason being is that we have some younger forum members that shouldn't be exposed to that nonsense. That said, I do need to clarify a certain point. When you signed up to use these forums, you all agreed to the following:
You agree not to post any abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening, sexually-orientated or any other material that may violate any laws be it of your country, the country where “Knights of the Round Table” is hosted or International Law. Doing so may lead to you being immediately and permanently banned, with notification of your Internet Service Provider if deemed required by us. The IP address of all posts are recorded to aid in enforcing these conditions. You agree that “Knights of the Round Table” have the right to remove, edit, move or close any topic at any time should we see fit.
The above forum policy is very clear. Read it again if it doesn't sink in. After that, read it one more time for good measure. We will not tolerate personal attacks on each other in the public forum areas, including the General Chat areas. You can use swear words to make a point if so desired, but the use of such in a personal or ad-hominem attack is grounds for warning. If you have a disagreement with someone to the point that the only way you can deal with it is to use vulgarities, then please take it to Private Messaging. Anything else will be locked, and the offending poster will be warned. After three warnings, the offending poster will be banned for a period of 3 days. Once the ban is lifted, if crap continues to happen, the offending poster will be warned and banned again for 7 days. If it continues to happen, then the 3 strike policy comes into affect in which case, the offending poster will be banned permanently. The only way for that person to return to KoRT is through a community vote and if the Knights approve, that person will be allowed to return but will be closely monitored. Any deviation from previously set forum rules will result in an automatic perma-ban with no further recourse.

Suffice it to say, I think we're a good group. We're all generous in the sense that we put up with each others eccentricities. However, do not take that generosity as a sign that you can do and say whatever you want because it's just not going to happen. Abusing that generosity will only result in bad things.

Thank you for taking the time to read this. This message is not open for debate or discussion.

Sincerely,

KoRT Management
